Breville Toaster Oven Review by Ezequiel
This is the ultimate toaster oven, but much more. It’s about the size of a microwave but does many things microwaves won’t do. This convection oven is easy to use and makes cooking a breeze. Convection means it has a fan to circulate the hot air inside the oven, thus heating the food faster and more evenly.
Made of stainless steel, it has a high-quality feel as soon as you open the well-designed box it’s packed in. The oven has nice rubber feet to keep it from sliding and even bumpers on the back to keep it out from the wall a few inches. The LCD display is bright and easy to read, blue backlighting with black letters. The rack has three different positions, in the middle position it ejects automatically when you open the door. Also comes with a pizza pan and baking pan.
Cooking is easy, one knob controls the function (Toast , Bagel, Bake, Roast, Broil, Pizza, Cookies, Reheat, and Warm), one knob controls the temperature, and the other controls time. In no time I was reheating pizza (Reheat, 15 minutes at 325 degrees) and making pork chops (35 minutes at 350 degrees.) It heats up much faster than a large oven.
About the only complaint is that the top of course gets very hot while/after the oven has been used, and it’s somewhat easy to accidentally let your hand touch the oven when you grab the handle.
